We are looking to add an Assessment Psychologist (Employment Position) to our Windermere DiveThru Crew! Our ideal candidate is an experienced assessor who will complete comprehensive psychoeducational and ADHD assessments. They may also complete other assessments they are competent in (e.g. mental health, autism, vocational). We are excited to add an Assessment Psychologist who is equally as passionate about providing quality client care and experience to our Crew!

Your General Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate intake and debrief interviews with clients
  • Conduct testing, scoring, interpretation and writing assessment reports
  • Make clinical decisions and recommendations based on assessment findings
  • Attend team meetings, case consultations and touch base with the Studio Manager/Assessment Lead as part of a collaborative work environment 

Your Skills:

Required
  • Registered Psychologist in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists, and has acquired competency to conduct formal assessments
  • Experience with independent practice completing psychoeducational and ADHD assessments. Other assessment experience (e.g. mental health, autism, vocational) is an asset and can be facilitated
  • Competency in administering and interpreting tests like the WISC-V/WAIS-IV, WIAT-III/IV, BASC-3, Conners 4, CPT 3, Beery VMI, PAI/PAI-A, etc. depending on ages the psychologist works with
  • Professional liability insurance, including cyber liability
  • Completed a Masters or Doctoral degree in Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology or School and Clinical Child Psychology
  • Formal assessment coursework or equivalent
  • Ability to work with children, youth or adults, and preferably all ages
  • Up-to-date Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search

Hours of Work
This is a full-time, employment position. 

While team meetings, case consultations, or other meetings may require scheduled attendance, there are no fixed working hours for this role. The Assessment Psychologist is expected to complete approximately 8 assessments per month, varying based on assessment type. The position allows for hybrid work arrangements, offering flexibility in scheduling (e.g., weekdays, evenings, weekends), particularly for tasks such as interpretation and report writing.

Compensation
The salary for this position is $120,000 annually. Additionally, a $500 bonus will be awarded for each assessment completed beyond 24 per quarter.

Location
The successful candidate will work at our new Windermere location with flexibility to work from home during virtual appointments or writing days.
